Deconsolidation is the process of separating a ‘consolidated’ (usually containerized) shipment into its original constituent shipments, for delivery to their respective consignees. Also called de-groupage.
Regional Logistics Centre Ltd will handle the documentation, transfer and handling of import consolidation containers from the port to the CFS for purposes of deconsolidation and storage prior to clearance by the clearing agents acting on behalf of consignee.
