SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

We are a logistics partner of choice with a difference in the container freight services.We conduct our business in a manner that leads to a healthy and safety environment for all employees, contractors, clients and the community at large. Thus we all grow in a true safety culture in the land of safety. We believe in a visible leadership and personal accountability at all levels of our operations.

Management: We are committed to:

  • conduct our business with a goal of minimal harm.
  • provide a safe, health and secure working condition for all.
  • maintain healthy and safe management systems aimed to improve our performance rating and effectively manage risk in our operations.
  • comply with applicable legal regulations, corporate Safety issues.
  • continually improve performance through effective safety management.

Employees : Each worker has an obligation to;

  • take a personal responsibility on health & safety issues and for others.
  • assess and control the risk before starting a given task.
  • not to override or misuse safety device or PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).               
  • not to work under the influence of alcohol/drugs or stimulants.
  • report all incidents immediately they occur to their immediate supervisor.

Application of this policy

We encourage suggestions for realising our health and safety objectives to create a safe working environment with a minimal harm.

Fire Safety Policy   Statement

Regional Logistics centre ltd believes that ensuring the health and safety of staff, visitors, service users and all relevant persons is essential to our success.

We are committed to:

  • Preventing accidents and work related ill health.
  • Compliance with statutory requirements as a minimum.
  • Assessing and controlling the risks that arise from our work activities.
  • Providing a safe and healthy working and learning environment.
  • Ensuring safe working methods and providing safe working equipment.
  • Providing effective information, instruction and training.
  • Consulting with employees and their representatives on health and safety matters.
  • Monitoring and reviewing our systems and prevention measures to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Setting targets and objectives to develop a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring adequate welfare facilities exist throughout the premises.
  • Ensuring adequate resources are made available for health and safety issues, so far as is reasonably practicable.

A Fire Safety Management System will be created to ensure the above commitments can be met. Employees throughout the department must play their part in the creation of a safe and healthy working environment for all.
